愛德華•蒙克（Edvard Munch），生于1863年12月12日，逝于1944年1月23日，是挪威表現(xiàn)主義畫家和版畫復(fù)制匠，挪威畫家，現(xiàn)代表現(xiàn)主義繪畫的先驅(qū)。

愛德華•蒙克繪畫帶有強烈的主觀性和悲傷壓抑的情調(diào)。他對心理苦悶的強烈的，呼喚式的處理手法對20世紀初德國表現(xiàn)主義的成長起了主要的影響。

蒙克畫中的平涂是有變化的，但這個變化不全是立體變化，即使是立體變化也是畫的簡潔概括，如用了漸變和突變的處理手法，在平涂色塊處形成自然的筆觸肌理。
